The London edition of the 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair is back at Somerset House this October. I am particularly excited to see that Claire Oliver Gallery will be there and guess who they represent? Bisa Butler! who is fast becoming one of my favourite artists.
I have attended this show a few times and I absolutely love it. There is so much to see and appreciate. Pace yourself as you go through the galleries as there is quite a lot to take in and of very varied disciplines and scales.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to see her work in the flesh on this occasion but it is only a matter of time. There are several other galleries that will be representing artists from all over the African continent. For a taste, browse some of the work of the artists that will be exhibiting here.
Another favourite Yinka Shonibare will also be exhibited.
