Where do you source your fabric?

Our fabric is sourced from producers in the African continent. Our aim is to find and provide fabric that is made in African countries.

Do you offer wholesale purchasing?

We do not currently offer wholesale purchasing but we do offer a discount for very large orders. Kindly get in to touch for more information.

Do you send out samples?

Yes we do. You can order up to 5 small swatches for £2 plus postage. Click sample swatches for further details.

Do you have a brick and mortar store?

We are currently an online store but we do participate in a few selling events over the course of the year, where we sell our fabric in person. If you would like to touch and see the fabric in person, do join our mailing list or check out events page for information on our next shows.


How are orders shipped?

WITHIN THE UK: Shipping is via Hermes courier service for most items whereby a tracking number will be provided. Royal Mail First Class post is used for smaller items. Most orders will arrive within 3 working days.

INTERNATIONAL: All international orders are sent by Royal Mail Airmail or DHL depending on the size of your order. Shipping takes between 3 to 7 working days to most destinations but will may longer during busy periods like Christmas.

EXPRESS/PRIORITY SHIPPING: If you need a faster delivery kindly contact us for a quote.  Your package will be sent via DHL and orders received before noon will be dispatched on the same day. Your package will arrive the next day for UK destinations and within 3 working days for most international destinations.

CUSTOMS & DUTIES: Please be advised that you are responsible for any import duty that might be incurred.

What are your shipping costs?

We ship world-wide so simply select your country at check out and shipping costs will be calculated automatically.

What are your delivery times?

Here is a guide to how long it will take to receive your order. Kindly note that this is just a guide and it may take longer than stated. Also note that during the busy holiday months, November and December, shipping may take a little longer.

How secure is your store?

Our store uses PayPal and Stripe for payments. Your confidential information is automatically encrypted in transit from your computer to their servers using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL).

What forms of payment do you accept?

We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover payments all through PayPal or Stripe. If you would like to use another form of payment, kindly send us an email.

Do I need a Paypal Account to make a payment?

No, you are not required to have a PayPal account to purchase from our site. Although if you already have a PayPal account you may use it. You can also pay using your Credit or Debit card.


I would like to return or exchange something. How do I go about that?

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us for a refund or exchange. To qualify for a refund you must inform us of your wish to return or exchange within 14 days of receipt of your items. The items must be returned in original condition with all tags and packaging intact and items in a saleable condition. It is your responsibility to pay for the order to be returned and obtain a certificate of posting.

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel your order within 14 working days of receipt of goods. You must inform us in writing within 14 days of receipt of your intent to exercise this right.

Kindly note that we do not accept returns on Sewing Patterns. We also do not accept returns on fabric that has been cut and/or washed.
