A new exhibition in Brighton Museum takes a look at contemporary African fashion by visiting four African cities, namely; Lagos in Nigeria, Nairobi in Kenya, Johannesburg in South Africa and Casablanca in Morocco.
The display includes the work of designers, stylists, photographers and bloggers living in these cites. The Fashion Cities African exhibition also includes a series of events and talks.
There is an accompanying book to the exhibition just in case you can’t make it. (Available on Amazon).
I have been seeing images from Instagram from people who have already visited the exhibition and it looks really engaging and well presented. I am planning to go and will update this post with images once I get the chance. If you are planning to go, more information is provided below.
