This pattern is a wardrobe staple. A gathered/pleated skirt which can be worn short or long. Would look fab in a wax print or batik, easily paired with a block colour t-shirt or blouse.

 

PATTERN DETAILS:

All seam allowances are included in the pattern.

The different pieces overlap in the pattern and will therefore need to be traced onto paper before using.

The pattern will come in  an envelope along with a step by step illustrated explanation guide.

The pattern runs from Size EU 36 to 46. This is the equivalent of UK Sizes 8 to 18 and US Sizes 4 to 14.

 

FABRIC SUGGESTIONS

Poplin, Batiste, Wool etamine, Linen, Viscose, Modal

 

FABRIC REQUIREMENTS:

2 3/8 yards by 60” wide for the long skirt (2.2 metres by 1.5 metre width)

1 3/4 yards by 60” wide for the short skirt (1.6 metres by 1.5 metre width)

 

OTHER SUPPLIES/NOTIONS:

7” x 1 yard of fusing

1 zipper of 7 7/8” (20 cm zipper)

1 button of 3/4 inch diameter (19 mm button)
