It is a hand woven cloth made mostly by the Yoruba tribe of south west Nigeria. It is woven in strips and these strips are typically sewn together to make clothing. Ideal for modern applications like upholstery, home furnishings, bags and more.

It is a thick fabric which is similar in texture to denim or canvas. This listing is for strips available by the metre. The width of the strip is 5.5 inches (14 cm).
