A modern tie dye fabric from Nigeria with a bright mix of colours against a blue background.
This tie dye fabric is known locally as ‘Adire’ in Nigeria and is handmade on 100% cotton making it suitable for many dressmaking, quilting and crafting projects. This fabric is additionally versatile as the back of the cloth has a slightly different look to the front so you can use which ever side you like or even mix things up for variation.
The fabric is 48 inches in width and you can choose between two lengths. Either a 2.4 yard (2.2 metre) length or a 4.8 yard (4.4 metre) length. To give you an idea of the scale of the patterns, a tape measure is shown in the last image with units displayed in centimetres and inches.

KINDLY NOTE: We photograph the fabric in natural daylight and make every effort to represent the colours as accurately as possible, nevertheless colours may display differently depending on the monitors/screens they are viewed on. Also, if you have purchased this fabric before, it will not be exactly the same as the one shown. Due to the unpredictable and organic nature of the dyeing process of batik, the outcome often varies.
